Founded in 1830, Spring Hill College is the oldest Catholic college in the Southeast and the third-oldest Jesuit college in the United States. SHC offers a broad liberal arts education that seeks to develop the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. 

In addition to challenging academics, Spring Hill students are exposed to internships and unique service learning opportunities that strengthen their leadership skills, deepen their understanding of social justice, and prepare them to become successful professionals and citizens of the world. 

Spring Hill College offers more than 52 majors and areas of concentration both on campus and online. The average class size is 13 students with a student-faculty ratio of 13:1.

Situated on Mobile Bay, Spring Hill is only 30 minutes from the sandy white beaches of the Gulf Coast as well as two hours from New Orleans to the West and Destin, Florida, to the East. Mobile is the birthplace of Mardi Gras in the US and has a vibrant downtown area known for its food, music, and eclectic Southern charm. 

Spring Hill College is located in one of Mobile’s safest, most picturesque neighborhoods. The campus rests on a 381-acre site, is naturally landscaped, and features huge oaks, azalea-lined walkways, and an 18-hole golf course. Several buildings on campus are even listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to offering generous financial aid, Spring Hill recently reduced its tuition by almost 50% and lowered room and board costs by about one-third, making it one of the best college values in the country.
